Hewett House

This colonial revival house survived a number of additions in the 1980’s. The renovation restores the original 1930s charm and creates spacious and light-filled spaces that connect with the outdoors.  A new kitchen stretches along the south wall and opens up to the forest views with sliding doors, creating a perfect space for entertaining large groups. We added a bay window to the large living room, creating a new dining area. The entry foyer has been reconfigured to improve flow and a built-in desk has been added to take advantage of north garden views.

The new main bathroom fits within the original footprint but feels more spacious and luxurious. This project breathes new life into this home, creating warm and welcoming spaces that support the way the homeowners want to live.
